Our team
The people behind AGOS
AGOS Scores is built by Daloy Tech Solutions, a Philippine software company. We build and test the software and support events on the ground, working closely with organizers, federations and surf communities so everything holds up on competition day.
Our story
How it all started
John Monro is a dancer. Jaymar is a registered electrical engineer. Alexander is an AI solutions architect. On land, our lives look nothing alike. In the water, we speak the same language.
AGOS started as conversations between the three of us about the surf scene we love: how to help it grow, and why the tools behind major contests were priced out of reach for the small, local events at the heart of Philippine surfing.
So we decided to build our own, hoping to bring pro-level contest technology to local surfing — live scores, instant results and a real stage for every surfer — in a way that fits seamlessly into how local contests already run.
Our goal is to help communities host surf and skimboarding competitions of every size, and one day to bring the whole Philippine surfing scene together in one connected circuit.
Three different paths, one love for surfing. It’s what binds us, and it’s what keeps us building.
Meet the team
-
Alexander Burias
Lead Software Architect and Developer
Alexander designed AGOS Scores and leads its architecture and development, including the path every score takes: from a judge’s phone to the head judge, then out to the beach screen, the livestream overlay and everyone following online, as it happens.
The work spans the whole platform, from event setup, heats and judging panels to rankings, results and payments. Alexander also sets the technical direction, including security, performance and what gets built next, with one goal: software that organizers and judges can rely on while the heats are running.
-
John Monro Guerra Lominoque
Head of Technical Team
John Monro heads the AGOS technical team on the ground. At events, the team sets up and runs everything the scoring depends on: the phones judges score on, the screens on the beach, the internet connection and the livestream setup.
John Monro’s focus is making sure hardware and software work as one. That means checking devices, the connection and the event setup before the first heat, fixing problems before they reach the judges or the scoreboard, and bringing what the team learns at each event back into the product.

Jaymar Abasolo
Full Stack Engineer and QA
Jaymar is a full-stack engineer on AGOS Scores, building features end to end: the database and server code behind them, and the screens organizers, judges and fans use.
Jaymar also looks after quality assurance, testing new features and releases across scoring, rankings, live updates and the public pages, on phones as well as computers, so problems are caught in testing rather than in the middle of a heat.
