At Agos Scores, operated by Daloy Tech Solutions ("we", "us", "our"), we value your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
We handle personal data in line with the Philippine Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
1. Information We Collect
We collect the following types of information:
- Account information: Name, email address, and password when you register
- Event data: Event names, dates, divisions, athlete names, and scoring data you enter
- Usage data: Pages visited, features used, browser type, and device information collected automatically
- Communication data: Messages sent through our contact form or support emails
- Live video and sound: When an organizer streams an event live from Agos Scores, the cameras and microphones they use capture the people at the event, such as athletes, judges and spectators
- Payment information: Payments are handled by PayMongo. We receive whether a payment went through, never your card or account numbers
- Notification sign-ups: The email address you give to be told when a heat goes live
2. How We Use Your Information
Your information is used to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Agos Scores platform
- Process event tickets and manage your account
- Display public event information (event names, schedules, scores) on public pages
- Show an event's live video on its event page, and on YouTube or Facebook when the organizer chooses to
- Communicate with you about your account, events, or support requests
- Improve our services and develop new features
- Analyze usage patterns to enhance performance and user experience
3. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal data. We may share information only in the following circumstances:
- Public event data: Event names, schedules, athlete names, and scores are displayed on public event pages as part of the platform's core functionality
- Service providers: Companies that process data on our behalf: Microsoft Azure (hosting, and the storage of athlete photos), DigitalOcean (our video server, in Singapore), PayMongo (payments), Resend (emails, including athlete page claims and invites), Sentry (error reports, which can include your account, IP address, browser and device details, with private links removed, and a sample of page-speed measurements to find slow pages), and Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel (site usage and our own advertising; never on pages opened from a private link, such as a judge's scoring link)
- Video platforms: When an organizer sends an event's live video to YouTube or Facebook, the video goes to that platform, and its own terms and privacy policy apply
- Legal requirements: We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights and safety
4. Athlete Pages
Every surfer who enters an event scored on Agos Scores has a public athlete page. Here is what it holds and who can change it.
- What is public: The surfer's name, team, results, heat scores and stats, from events whose organizers show results publicly. The page can also show a photo, hometown, country, stance, a short description and an Instagram name
- What stays private: Year of birth, gender and contact details are never shown on the page
- Who fills it in: While nobody manages the page, the organizers of the surfer's events can add the details and the photo. Once the surfer, or their parent or guardian, manages the page, only they can change it, and organizers keep only the team shown at their own events. Every change is logged
- Photos: A photo is cropped to a square and stored without the camera's details, such as where it was taken. A replaced or removed photo is deleted
- Claiming a page: A surfer can ask to manage their page. We accept it when the email on record matches, when an organizer of their events invites them or approves the request, or after our own review. For a surfer under 18, a parent or guardian manages the page
- Private stats and notes: The people who manage a page (the surfer, a parent or guardian, and a coach they add) see private stats, including each judge's score on the surfer's waves without the judges' names, and the notes they write. Nobody else sees them
- Rankings across organizers: A surfer's event points can be added up in circuit standings that combine events of several organizers
- Search engines: Athlete pages can appear in search results. Whoever manages a page can ask search engines to leave it out
- Corrections and removal: The surfer, or their parent or guardian, can ask us to correct a page, remove the photo and details, or take the page down by writing to support@daloytechsolutions.com. Results stay part of the events' records, but the page can be hidden
5. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), secure authentication, and regular security reviews. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
6. Data Retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide our services. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
Live video is recorded on our video server for up to 3 hours, for replays during the event, and is then deleted. Copies an organizer sends to YouTube or Facebook are kept by those platforms on the organizer's account.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Request deletion of your account and personal data
- Withdraw consent for data processing where applicable
